Upper Level Cycle Chart

The Cycle Charts provide a simple framework for implementing the Spotlight on Music curriculum and supplementary materials in a multigrade classroom. The teacher selects which level to use and the cycle noted in the NAD Elementary Textbook List for that particular school year. The upper level is designed for grades 5–8. More detailed information is found in the weekly lesson plans.

Spotlight on Music

The Spotlight on Music (grade 5) materials have been developed into four one-year cycles for grades 5–8, the upper level.

For multigrade schools, it is recommended that grade 3 and grade 5 curriculum be purchased.

NOTE: In some cases, due to material that has been deemed inappropriate, Spotlight lessons have been adapted or omitted entirely.
